Andy & Barbie Kits

Andy and Barbie Kits have been happily married since September 2016 and reside in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. Together, they are proud parents to three biological children. Andy is a trained social worker, while Pastor Barbie is an industrial psychologist and a fashion enthusiast.
Both are certified practitioners of “The Journey of Restoration,” a proven model designed to facilitate healing in individuals affected by trauma. This approach has been successfully implemented not only in Uganda but also in neighboring countries such as Rwanda and Burundi, equipping others to foster healing within their communities.
Our hope is to see Vulnerable children, powerless girls and women, and lost youth thrive and achieve their full, God given potential and walk in their new Identity in Christ

Our
Story
Andy and Barbie have been Graced with leading young people, they have so far led at Worship Harvest Jinja as Youth leader and Oikos Respectively. Led at Worship Harvest Mbarara as Lead Location Pastors and are now at Worship Harvest Downtown, Andy as Worship Leader and Barbie a member. Shortly after their marriage, they founded New Identity Uganda in Jinja, an organization dedicated to transforming lives across the country.
Today, New Identity Uganda operates in four regions, focusing on empowering youth, women, and children from broken and abusive backgrounds. Their efforts include helping children and teenagers return to school, providing them with opportunities for a brighter future. The Kits are deeply passionate about various areas including marriage enrichment, youth empowerment, women’s issues, music, fashion, school ministry, leadership, and discipleship. Their commitment to community transformation was inspired by their experiences working with different organizations, where they witnessed a significant need for renewal and restoration of identity among individuals—particularly young people, but also adults facing similar crises.
They have reached out to 50+ schools and numerous communities with bibles and the love of Christ and food packages respectively leading about 1000+ people to Christ in three regions in Uganda so far with plans to launch into Rwanda, Burundi and Kenya. Through their work, Pastors Andy and Barbie Kits continue to make a meaningful impact, guiding individuals toward discovering their God-given purpose and restoring hope in their lives.
