About NIDU

New Identity Uganda is driven by a zeal to do God's work by discipling the next generation. Our mission is to feed, equip, empower, disciple and send young people to think, live, and lead like Christ.

New Identity Uganda restores lives by feeding communities with dignity, equipping individuals through skill-based training, empowering futures through education at King of Kings Schools, discipling hearts via clubs and Bible outreach, and sending transformed leaders—renewed from trauma—into schools, workplaces, and communities.

We believe that every  vulnerable person in the community deserves to be helped.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to feed, equip, empower, disciple and send the next generation. To transform and heal all the hurting people in our society.

Feeding

Jajja.jpg

Approximately 16.4 million Ugandans struggle with insufficient food consumption. This translates to roughly 1 in 3 families in some regions not having enough food to eat. Specifically, 3 in 10 Ugandans face daily food shortages, and a substantial portion of children under five years old suffer from chronic malnutrition. Children go to school hungry. Mothers go to bed praying for the next plate. In the slums of Kisenyi, Katanga, and beyond, hunger isn't just a challenge — it's a daily reality. But it doesn’t have to be this way. As New Identity Uganda, we make a difference, by feeding the hungry, we give more than food — we give hope, we restore dignity, and we build stronger communities.

Equipping

We believe in equipping the next generation not just to survive, but to heal, grow, and lead.Through life skills, trauma-informed care, counseling, and safe spaces such as the Annual Pathfinders BootCamps.Using tools like the CPR journey of restoration, we specialize in spiritual revival of the Brain focusing on;

  • Connection

  • Psycho - education

  • Routine

We partner with No Boundaries International (NBI) to bring Healing, provide training and offer Christ-centered outreach to empower people to live in freedom and purpose.

Empowering

In rural Uganda, access to quality education is a luxury many cannot afford. At King of Kings, we're working to change that. Our schools in Namwendwa, Kamuli District and  Budondo Jinja District, are a safe and supportive learning environment for children who might otherwise be left behind.Over 7 million children enrolled in primary school (P1), but only 53% complete the full primary cycle. We believe every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their background or financial situation. That's why we:- Provide free tuition to all our students- Supply free stationery to ensure every child has the tools they need to learn- Offer nutritious meals to keep our students healthy and focused

Discipling

True change begins in the heart. Discipleship is not just about teaching — it's about walking alongside people, nurturing their faith, and helping them grow in relationship with Christ.

In communities across Uganda, from urban slums to remote villages, we are committed to:

  • Raising faithful leaders grounded in the Word of God

  • Mentoring youth and families through life’s challenges

  • Restoring identity and purpose through the Gospel

  • Building communities of love, accountability, and transformation

Discipleship brings healing where there is brokenness, hope where there is despair, and direction where there is confusion.

It is not about religion — it is about relationship.

Sending

Viva college.jpg

We are not just called to gather — we are called to go.

From the streets of Kampala to the hills of Karamoja, from churches to schools, we are committed to sending out men and women who carry hope, healing, and truth.

  • Sent to the broken with compassion

  • Sent to the lost with the Gospel

  • Sent to the nations with boldness and love

Just as Jesus said, “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you” (John 20:21).

To send is to trust. To go is to obey.
Together, let’s raise and release a generation willing to say: “Here I am, send me.” (Isaiah 6:8)
